On Thursday 6th May 2021 you will be asked to vote in up to three local elections

You will be asked to choose 3 councillors to represent you on the new North Northamptonshire Council.

You will also be asked to choose a Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner.

Some villages and towns will also be asked to choose councillors to represent them on their Town or Parish Council.

Everyone chooses

There are two local elections that everyone in Kettering Borough will participate in:

- The North Northamptonshire Council election.

- The election for the Northamptonshire Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner.

Each area of the Borough will be asked to choose 3 candidates to represent them on the new North Northamptonshire council.

Town & Parish elections

Some town and parish councils in the borough are holding elections. Parish councils generally aren't contested on party lines, but town councils are. 

If you live in an area of the borough that is holding a town or parish election, you will be asked to choose councillors to represent you..

Kettering Town Council

This is a new council that has been created to represent residents more locally due to the creation of North Northamptonshire Council and residents will be asked to choose councillors to represent them.
Your CANDIDATES

Desborough Town Council

The Desborough St Giles ward is being contested and residents will be asked to choose three councillors to represent them. Desborough Loatland is not being contested.

Burton Latimer Town Council

Residents will be asked to choose 12 councillors to represent them. Your Labour Party Candidate for this election is Maggie Don.

Parish Councils

Residents of Brampton Ash, Geddington and Weston-By-Welland will be asked to choose parish councillors to represent them.

Postal Votes

Those registered for postal votes will receive a ballot with instructions on how to vote by post.

Everyone else registered to vote will receive a poll card with details of their polling station.
