Today Labour Councillors Clark Mitchell (Kettering Town Council, Avondale Grange) and Anne Lee (North Northamptonshire Council, Windmill) met up at the veg plant sale at The Green Patch.

Clark said, "I picked up some tomato and chilli plants. Once again I am blown away by how great this facility is it really is a hidden gem in our town!".

The The Green Patch is a 2.5 acre site located on the edge of the Grange housing estate in Kettering. Over the last 10 years it's become a shared green space used by local people, schools, local authority and community groups. It hosts volunteer days, educational sessions and family events.
