It might not be the result we wanted overall, but these are Kettering Labour's fantastic five Kettering candidates who were successful in the elections last Thursday:

North Northamptonshire Council (new Unitary Authority)

  • Anne Lee, our North Northamptonshire councillor [for Windmill]

Kettering Town Council:

  • Keli Watts [William Knibb]
  • Bev Wright [Northfield]
  • Clark Mitchell [Avondale Grange]
  • Maggie Don [St Michaels & Wicksteed].

Congratulations to all of them, and commiserations to those who weren't successful. Thanks to all who voted - whether for Labour or other candidates. Democracy depends on people taking part in the process: at a turnout of 34% overall in North Northamptonshire, that means that 66% [two thirds] haven't made their voices heard. ðŸŒ¹ðŸŒ¹ðŸŒ¹ðŸŒ¹ðŸŒ¹

Cllrs Anne Lee, Keli Watts, Maggie Don, Clark Mitchel and Bev Wright
