Some of the residents of Bishops Drive & Slade Crescent were upset that having spent a few back-breaking hours planting daffodil bulbs supplied by KBC in the green crescent, a few other residents still seemed to want to use the space as a car park.
KBC then planted some trees in the green, and put up signs asking people not to park on the grass. This was still ignored by a few, so now we have a small fence around the whole green.
Another area of inconsiderate parking on the grass is currently being sorted. After a two-year dialogue with residents & KBC, at long last new parking bays are installed in front of Northumberland Road bungalows. So next year we will be able to plant some nice spring bulbs here too.
