With its heart wrenching and brutally honest portrayal of Britain's cruel and punitive benefits system, this multi-award winning film is a must see - and The University of Northampton, Park Campus is providing FREE screenings on the 8th March. The first screening will take place at 2pm, and the second at 6:15pm.

I, Daniel Blake was one of the best films of last year and it won multiple awards including the Palm D’or and Outstanding British Film in the 2017 BAFTA ceremony.

Whilst a powerful and moving picture, it is a searing indictment of the unacceptable way benefit claimants are treated in modern day Britain. The film will be followed by free refreshments and a panel led discussion.

If you'd like to get tickets for either screening, you need to register for free tickets by clicking here.
