Eileen Hales is standing to be re-elected to Northamptonshire County Council to represent the Windmill Division
Eileen is your Labour Party Candidate for Windmill Division
I am seeking re-election on 4th May as your County Councillor for Windmill Division. I previously spent 14 years as a Borough Councillor (1995-2007 and 2013-2015).
I will continue to strongly support local residents by carrying out door-to-door advice surgeries, listening to your concerns and working with you to improve your lives and our community. Having visited schools during my time as a Councillor I have an understanding of the support and care they need in our town. In addition I have and will continue to raise the issue of parking near the schools in order to keep the children safe.
As a former healthcare worker I believe that public services should be open to all and being Labour’s Shadow Cabinet Member for Public Health and Wellbeing this leaves me in good stead to be your voice.
Labour is campaigning hard to make Northamptonshire a better place to live and work. At a time when many people are suffering greatly because of cuts implemented by the Tory Government and Tory County Council, Labour is working to make our area better.
Our pledges to you:
- Labour will rebuild Adult Social Care Services.
- Labour will improve our pavements and roads.
- Labour will improve our failing Children’s Services.
- Labour will help and support local businesses.
- Labour will put people at the heart of decision-making.
