Borough Council By-Election April 2017 Eugene Dalton-Ruark

Eugene Dalton-Ruark is standing to be elected to Kettering Borough Council to represent the St Peters Ward

Eugene is your Labour Party Candidate for St Peter’s Ward

I would like to introduce myself as your Labour Party Candidate for the Kettering ward of St Peter’s, for the forthcoming Borough Council By-Election on the 4th of May.

I have lived in St Peter’s Ward, close to the Kettering Conference Centre, for several years now and feel that I know the area, its needs and its requirements well. My two children attend local schools, with one of them going to a school nearby in the Ward.

I am an active member of the Labour Party and I work locally. Among other community services I have been a custody visitor and have provided community transport. I have been a UNITE member since 1994. I am aware of the concerns that local residents have and the local issues. If elected to office I would raise these matters and endeavour to tackle and solve them, aiming to ensure the quick and satisfactory resolution of any problems.

A vote for me is a vote for sensible change. The Kettering Constituency Labour Party already has many hard-working Borough Councillors – putting in the effort to improve the lives of residents in this wonderful town and area. I would be proud to join them in helping to make Kettering better.

Labour is campaigning hard to make Kettering a better place to live and work. At a time when many people are suffering greatly because of cuts implemented by the Tory Government and Tory County and Borough Councils, Labour is working to make our area better.

Our pledges to you:

  • Labour will improve our pavements and roads.
  • Labour will improve our failing Children’s Services.
  • Labour will help and support local businesses.
  • Labour will put people at the heart of decision-making.
